Abstract
Three new sesquiterpene polyol esters were isolated from the fruit of Euonymus nanus. Their structures were elucidated by various spectrosco pic methods to be 1 beta-isobutyryloxy-2 beta,6 alpha,15-triacetoxy-9 alpha-benzoyloxy-4 alpha-hydroxydihydro-beta-agarofuran, 1 beta-(2-met hyl)butryrloxy-2 beta,6 alpha,15-triacetoxy-9 alpha-benzoyloxy-4 alpha -hydroxydihydro-beta-agarofuran and 1 beta,2 beta,6 alpha,15-tetraacet oxy-9 alpha-benzoyloxy-4 alpha-hydroxydihydro-beta-agarofuran.
