Abstract
A new C-glycoside, vitexin-2''-O-alpha-D-arabinofuranoside, was isolat ed from the leaves of Cotoneaster thymaefolia. Vitexin, vitexin-2''-O- rhamnoside, rutin, quercetin 3-rhamnoside, 5,7,2',5'-tetrahydroxyflava none and its 7-glucoside were also identified. The structures of the c ompounds were determined by spectroscopic methods.
