Abstract
Radiolysis of pure as well as doped (Ba2+) sodium bromate has been car ried out at different irradiation doses. Annealing of damage BrO-, BrO 2- and non-Br-Ox between 393.0-433.0 K is enhanced with increasing tem perature, irradiation dose as well as by cation doping. Analysing the data in the light of theories of diffusion controlled mechanisms, it i s indicated that for each fragment recovery is a combination of one fi rst order and one second order process. The Z vs. phi plots are linear in the initial period of recombination suggesting the validity of Smo luchowski boundary condition (SBC) theory.
