Dv. Aleksandrov et al., POSSIBLE OBSERVATION OF AN EXCITED-STATE OF THE H-3 NUCLEUS IN THE REACTION H(HE-6,ALPHA), JETP letters, 59(5), 1994, pp. 320-324
Cross sections for the reaction (He-6,alpha) at H and C-12 nuclei and
for the reaction H(He-6,Li-6) have been measured at an energy E(He-6)
= 19.3 MeV, for the first time. The spectrum of a particles from the r
eaction H(He-6,alpha) contains, in addition to the ground state of the
triton, a resonance with an energy E = 7.0 +/- 0.3 MeV and a width G
AMMA = 0.6 +/- 0.3 MeV. This resonance lies above the threshold for th
e dissociation t --> n + d. It is suggested that this level has a (2n
+ p) configuration.
