Pseudohypertension has ben reported in elderly, diabetic and uraemic p
atients. A variety of diagnostic methods have been used, generally wit
h poor results with the exception of arterial catheterisation. We repo

renal transplant and was diagnosed by the use of oscillometric and ph
otoplethysmographic blood pressure measurement.
