Purpose: This article describes the medical Web site developed at the Department of Otolaryngology, Queen's University, on the World Wide We b. The objectives of the Web site are: to introduce the Department of Otolaryngology at Queen's University; to provide its users with inform ation and new developments in various aspects of otolaryngology; to pr ovide general public with health information on otolaryngology; and to foster academic discussion via electronic discussion forum. The devel opment and implementation of this Web site are also presented. Conclus ion: Physicians who have Internet access will be able to utilize the m ultimedia information on this site for medical education and clinical consultation.
