Process of obtaining melamine-formaldehyde oligomers based on 2,4,6-tr
iamine-1,3,5-triazine (melamine), formaldehyde, t-butyl-methanol perox
ide and t-butyl hydroperoxide in 313-353 K and reaction time 0.5-5.0 h
in the presence of zinc oxide was investigated. Molar ratio of formal
dehyde-peroxide was (8-18):(4-8) for 1 mol of melamine. The structures
of oligomers were confirmed by NMR and IR spectra.
