Abstract
We report simultaneous measurements of neutron-capture prompt gamma em issions as well as neutron reflectivity on a polymer film with an embe dded Gd layer. Enhanced gamma-ray signals and reduced neutron reflecti vity were observed when the neutron standing waves were resonantly amp lified in the film. Fitting of both the gamma-ray and reflectivity dat a is of significant aid in uniquely characterizing the depth profile o f the polymer film as well as locating the Gd layer.
