Abstract
A 75-year-old man achieved complete reversal of insulin-dependent diab etes mellitus after percutaneous, computed tomography-guided, pancreat ic pseudocyst drainage. This reversal is believed to have resulted fro m removal of physiologic stress after drainage. This and previously re ported cases of new-onset diabetes following this procedure suggest cl ose serum glucose monitoring in all patients undergoing percutaneous p ancreatic pseudocyst drainage.
