Abstract
Intracardiac ectopic thyroid tissue was removed in a 51 years old woma n, after echography has discovered a tumor in the right ventricle. The re was a normal thyroid gland in the neck and thyroid fonction tests w ere normal. Intra-cardiac ectopic thyroid tissue is very rare; it is d ue to an abnormality of embryological development, when thyroid anlage is in close contact with the embryonic heart.
