As. Banks et al., JUVENILE HALLUX ABDUCTOR VALGUS ASSOCIATION WITH METATARSUS-ADDUCTUS, Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association, 84(5), 1994, pp. 219-224
The authors evaluated the radiographs of 40 patients (72 feet) under 2
1 years of age who underwent surgery for symptomatic hallux abducto va
lgus deformity at Northlake Regional Medical Center. Forty-eight of 72
feet had metatarsus adductus angles greater than 15-degrees. A statis
tically significant correlation was found between an increasing metata
rsus adductus angle and an increasing hallux abductus angle.
