Abstract
The characteristics of dyeing wastewater are shown. Treatment of dyein g industry wastewater was carried out using carbonised coirpith as ads orbent as a function of agitation time, adsorbent dosage and pH. The e fficiency of the carbonised coirpith, a waste material from the coir i ndustry, is comparable with commercial activated carbon.
