Abstract
The acclimation to temperature of two algae, Microcystis viridis and S elenastrum capricornutum, was examined in batch culture experiments. B oth algae acclimated promptly to an increase in temperature, but S. ca pricornutum acclimated slowly to a decrease in temperature relative to M. viridis.
