Abstract
The eigenvalue problem for the Calogero-Sutherland-Moser model is solv ed exactly. The complete set of eigenfunctions is given by the homogen eous Laurent polynomials. Its subset consisting of polynomial solution s is expressed by the generalized Schur functions which correspond to the lambda-deformed general linear group.
