Abstract
The enantioselective resolution of trans-stilbene oxide and of 23 chir al sulfoxides was investigated on cellulose and amylose tris(arylcarba mate) stationary phases coated on aminopropylated 7 mu m spherical sil ica with 500 Angstrom diameter pores. Cellulose tris-(3,5 dimethylphen ylcarbamate) showed good resolving power for many of the sulfoxides an d amylose tris-(3,5 dimethoxyphenylcarbamate) showed advantages for th e resolution of certain sulfoxides which were not separated on other p hases.
