Abstract
The essential oil content and composition were determined in leaves, s tems and roots of Lippia junelliana. The oil content on dry weight was : 1.5% in leaves, 0.04% in stems, and 0.01% in roots. The oil composit ion in leaves was: alpha-pinene, camphene, beta-pinene, limonene, camp hor, borneol, methyl-chavicol, geranial, carvone, piperitenone, lippio ne, methyl-eugenol, cariophyllene, alpha, gamma, and beta bisabolenes. Differences were found in oil composition of leaves, stems and roots.
