Abstract
Evidence of treatment implementation in a short-term emergency shelter program for runaway and homeless youths is presented. An examination of data collected from 100 youths consecutively admitted to the progra m indicated high frequencies of teaching interactions across a range o f social skills, high levels of satisfaction with the program, and rel atively low frequencies of negative/disruptive behaviors by the youths during their stays in the shelter.
