Abstract
A comparison between Kajaani FS-200 and Bauer-McNett fibre length meas urements of several different pulps was conducted. Good linear relatio nships were found to exist between the measurements obtained by the tw o methods but they varied according to the type of pulp employed. The precision of measurement of the two methods proved to be comparable, g enerally to within +/-3 to 4%.
