Abstract
A case of compression of the common peroneal nerve caused by a ganglio n herniating from the superior tibio-fibular joint is reported. MR ima ging was partially helpful in making the diagnosis. The patient has ma de an almost complete recoverY 3 months after excision of the lesion. Early diagnosis and treatment is required to ensure recovery. (C) 1994 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
