The crystal structure of [Cu(Sulfathiazole)2 (MeOH)Cl2] (C19H22N6O5Cl2
CuS4; triclinic; a = 7.564(6) angstrom, b = 11.044(6) angstrom, c = 16
.344(7) angstrom, alpha = 108.43(1)degrees, beta = 102.99(1)degrees, g
amma = 90.31(1)degrees, Z = 2, space group P1BAR) has been determined
from the intensities of 3966 independent reflections (graphite monochr
omator MoK(alpha) 4-circle diffractometer; r = 5.64%). The coordinatio
n polyhedron around Cu(II) ion is intermediate between square pyramida
l and trigonal bipyramid.
