Abstract
The reaction of 1-hydroxy-3-imidazoline 3-oxides with alkyl- or phenyl lithium followed by oxidation gives stable biradicals with two nitroxy l groups in the imidazolidine ring. Anisotropic ESR spectra of these b iradicals are discussed.
