Abstract
A series of methyl and allyl derivatives of ansa-titano- and ansa-zirc onocenes with isopropylidene or dimethylsilyl bridging groups were syn thesized. A dinuclear complex, [Me2C(CH4)2]2Ti2O2, resulting from the thermal decomposition of the corresponding dimethyl derivative of ansa -titanocene in the air, was characterized by X-ray diffraction analysi s.
