Abstract
(Methylchlorosilyl)methyldichlorophosphines have been synthesized by t he reaction of [dimethy(diethylamino)silyl]- or [methyl-bis(diethylami no)silyl]methylmagnesium chlorides with PCl3 in ether at -40 divided-b y -20-degrees-C and subsequent treatment of the reaction mixture with dry HCl. The structures of the compounds thus obtained have been studi ed by P-31, H-1, and C-13 NMR spectroscopy.
