Abstract
A model of synchrotron emission of the electrons accelerated by the ou ter shock wave in the magnetic field of a supernova remnant is calcula ted; the magnetic field is the modified interstellar field. This model can describe the synchrotron emission from type I supernova remnants. A comparison with observations shows that the results of calculations are in satisfactory agreement with data on the remnants of SN 1006 an d Tycho's SN in the frequency range nu = 10(9) - 10(18) Hz.
