Abstract
A generalization of Kompaneets's equation is given for the photon dist ribution function in the energy exchange between photons and electrons due to the Compton effect. The anisotropic function of the photon dis tribution in the slowly moving high-temperature gas with arbitrary deg eneracy is assumed. Most of the factors of the kinetic equation are ch aracterized by the simple dependence on the degree of degeneracy and a re proportional to the number density of particles.
