Abstract
The development of a fistula between the intestinal tract and the port al vein has been reported as a complication of trauma, inflammation, a nd surgical intervention. It has not, however, been specifically repor ted in a patient who has undergone orthotopic liver transplantation. W e recently had the opportunity to study a patient who sustained this r are complication.
