Aspects of the application of a five-channel flash photometer with an
integrating sphere, operating in the wavelength range 0.3-2.6 mum, to
diagnostic monitoring of the state of natural objects in real environm
ents are discussed. The results of laboratory measurements of the tran
smission and reflection coefficients of plants in the normal and ''str
essed'' states are reported.
