Abstract
Air oxidation of bis(perfluoroalkanesulfonyl)methylene dimethylsulfoni um ylids obtained from the photoreactions of phenyliodonium bis(perflu oroalkanesulfonyl)methides with dimethyl sulfide afforded the title co mpounds. The X-ray structure of Me2(O)S+- -C SO2(CF2)3SO2 is presented .
