Abstract
The absolute configuration of 3-methylpyrrolidine alkaloids isolated f rom the poison gland of ants Leptotho-racini was determined as (3R). T he enantiomeric separation by chiral gas chromatography and unambiguou s structural assignment of the target compounds are described.
