Abstract
An enzyme-linked-immunosorbent-assay (ELISA) using a single-point meas urement of human IgG antibodies to rubella virus was compared with the hemagglutination-inhibition test to state the immune status in 416 su bjects. A good correlation was noted between the two methods (r = 0,89 ). The ELISA method is easy to perform and reliable if a threshold of 11 IU/ml is chosen.
