A method for quantitatively determining microquantities of aluminum (I
II) and manganese(II) without preliminary separation in the presence o
f iron (III) ions by the method of precipitate-dissolution chromatogra
phy on untreated FN-3 chromatographic paper has been developed. A 1,4-
dioxane-water (3-5):1 (by volume) mixture has been suggested for the m
obile phase, with an aqueous solution of sodium N,N-diethyldithiocarba
minate (0.05-0.07 mass %) as the peak developer.
