Lv. Tabulina et al., INFLUENCE OF A MAGNETIC-FIELD AND LOW-FREQUENCY VIBRATION ON ELECTROLESS NICKEL-PLATING IN HYPOPHOSPHITE SOLUTIONS, Russian journal of applied chemistry, 66(4), 1994, pp. 761-764
The influence of static and alternating magnetic fields, and of vibrat
ing agitation on the nickel-plating process in hydrophosphite solution
s has been studied. It has been established that a magnetic field, irr
espective of its nature and intensity, decreases the rate of Ni-P plat
ing. Vibrating agitation has a positive affect on the nickel-plating p
rocess within a narrow frequency range.
