Abstract
The liquid - vapor equilibrium in the piperidine-water, piperidine-pyr idine, and water-piperidine-pyridine systems has been investigated by ebulliometric titration. Binary and tertiary azeotropes were shown to be missing in the two latter systems. A mathematical model of liquid - vapor equilibrium, based on the Tsuboka-Katayama equation has been ob tained. Investigation of the model has shown that within the pressure range 0.066-5.0 atm only aqueous piperidine and the pyridine azeotrope s exist in the ternary system.
