Abstract
The effect of the counterion employed during synthesis on the resistan ce versus potential profile of selected conducting polymer materials h as been investigated using resistometry. This technique allows changes in resistance of the polymer to be measured in solution in real time. The measurements show that even the most subtle change in molecular s tructure of the counterion has a marked effect on the resistance-poten tial properties.
