Abstract
The solubilities of calcium hemicarboaluminate, calcium monocarboalumi nate and calcium tricarboaluminate have been determined and the equili brium phase diagram for the CaO-Al2O3-CaCO3-H2O closed system at 25-de grees-C has been calculated. Six isothermally invariant points have be en located involving six stable hydrates: CH, C3AH6, AH3, calcium hemi carboaluminate, calcium monocarboaluminate and calcite. Calcium tricar boaluminate, the carbonate analogue of ettringite, does not appear to be stable at 25-degrees-C.
