Abstract
Trobicin in a dose 2.0 g injected once was used in the treatment of 25 male patients with acute gonorrhea. 96% were cured, this indicating a high efficacy of the drug. Trobicin therapy is convenient, for the dr ug is injected only once and well tolerated by the patients, this reco mmending it for the treatment of acute gonorrhea patients, including t hose with penicillin intolerance or inefficacy.
