Diane was included in therapeutic schemes for female patients with acn
e rash. The preparation was used alone, in combination with decaris or
metronidazole. Each group consisted of 25 patients, and 25 controls w
ere treated with decaris and metronidazole but no diane. Therapy with
diane alone is indicated for patients with the mild form of rash, dian
e combined with decaris for patients suffering from acne rash for more
than two years, and diane combined with metronidazole for patients wi
th pustulation processes predominance. The authors consider diane a hi
ghly effective antiseborrhea agent: therapy of patients with acne rash
by schemes including this drug was approximately four times more effe
ctive than therapy with decaris and metronidazole. Such therapy can be
carried out both on an inpatient and outpatient basis.
