Abstract
The association constants of alpha- and beta-cyclodextrins with severa l pyrrolizidine alkaloids have been determined at pH 1.5 and 9.2 by us ing competitive spectrophotometry and solubility studies, respectively . Evidence of the nature of the pyrrolizidine alkaloids inclusion with in the cyclodextrin cavity is presented.
