Abstract
Males and females of Xiphopenaeus kroyeri (Heller, 1862) were collecte d in Matinhos region, on the coast of Parana State, from October 1991 to September 1992. The growth curve in length were established by the frequency distribution method, and the growth curve in weigth was esti mated by deductive method. The species growth is fast and weigth gain is alometric in type.
