Abstract
Features of the discharge of H3O+ and hydrogen penetration into metal in the range of active dissolution potentials for Fe in acid sulfate e lectrolytes, and also in the presence of anions F-, [Fe(CN)6]4-, HS-, CNS- and a number of oxygen-containing oxidizing agents are studied. E xperimental results are interpreted quantitatively on the basis of ide as about the effect of Fe ionization processes on the degree of electr ode surface filling by H3O+ ions.
