Abstract
Certain laws governing the cathodic and anodic behavior of various com positions of iron silicides (FeSi, FeSi2, and FeSi2-Si) in H2SO4 and H Cl solutions are investigated. The quantitative content of Si in the i ntermetallides exerts a major influence on the rate of electrode proce sses.
