Abstract
We report finding at surgery a histopathologically-confirmed superfici al temporal-artery aneurysm. To our knowledge, this is the first repor t of this type of aneurysm in the ophthalmic literature. The ophthalmo logist must include this condition in the differential diagnosis of a pulsatile and tender temporal artery, especially when a history of tra uma is present.
