Abstract
A novel method is presented for minimising the third order cumulant sp read of a random sequence based on a new class of performance criteria . It provides a closed form solution for the weightings required to ac hieve this minimum. The method is demonstrated on computer generated G aussian distributed random sequences, and is proved to be useful.
