Abstract
Methods for calculating physicochemical properties, based on the three -parameter form of the law of corresponding states, are considered. A dimensionless parameter that is dependent on the complexity of the mol ecular geometry and on the polarity of the chemical bond is proposed a s a principal criterion of thermodynamic similarity. The accuracy of t he methods presented is compared to that of the methods for approximat e calculation of the physicochemical properties, described in the lite rature.
