Abstract
The solubility and activity of water in the systems studied were deter mined experimentally. The solubility isotherms calculated by using Pit zer's equation from the data on composition of solid phase and water a ctivity in the ternary systems was shown to be in a good agreement wit h experimental results. The free energies of formation of rubidium and cesium carnallites were calculated.
