ANALYTICAL EXPRESSIONS OF FIELD SINGULARITIES AT THE EDGE OF 4 RIGHT WEDGES

The analytical expressions of the order of the singularity of the elec tric and magnetic field near to an edge are reported in the case of fo ur right wedges and, possibly, an infinitely thin perfectly conducting sheet. The results were found following Meixner's theory and using a general procedure for writing explicitly the characteristic equations for any number of different wedges. These results may be useful, for e xample, in connection with numerical methods for the full-wave analysi s of microwave and optical integrated circuits.
