Abstract
Single crystals of the title compound have been synthesized and its cr ystal structure has been determined The compound crystallizes in the m onoclinic system, space group C2/c, Z = 2 (a = 5.3056, b = 12.976, c = 19.578 angstrom, beta = 92.583-degrees, R = 0.029). A distinctive fea ture of the structure is lacy layers of eight-vertex Bi polyhedra and Mo tetrahedra connected to them via common vertices. The adjacent laye rs are linked together by ten-vertex Rb polyhedra and Li octahedra.
