Abstract
MR using a susceptibility-weighted sequence and dynamic contrast enhan cement with gadolinium demonstrated relative hyperperfusion of the rig ht temporoparietal cortex in a patient in focal status epilepticus. A single-photon emission CT (SPECT) scan also demonstrated hyperperfusio n of the right temporoparietal cortex. Perfusion MR, SPECT, and electr oencephalogram normalized when the seizures ended.
