Abstract
Solar cells based on CuInSe2 (CIS) thin films prepared as described in the previous contribution have been prepared and characterized. The l ight and dark current - voltage curves and spectral responses are pres ented, showing that annealing in a selenium atmosphere makes it possib le to fabricate ZnO/CdS/CIS solar cells with improved efficiencies. CI S is of particular interest because its optical properties are well ma tched to the solar spectrum.
