The quenched diluted spin 3/2 Ising model on a square and simple cubic
lattice is studied within the framework of an effective field theory
based on the use of exact Ising spin identities. A new technique that
makes use of a probability distribution that correctly accounts for th
e single-site kinematic relations and certain configurational averagin
g identities is employed. The temperature dependence of the magnetizat
ion and other ordering parameters is presented for selected values of
the site dilution. Results for the concentration dependence of the tra
nsition temperature are obtained and the critical concentration for or
dering established.
